On-demand vaccination services include Hepatitis, Meningitis, and Tetanus. Seasonal flu and other specific vaccines will be available as needed. Along with administering the vaccine, we will provide patient education on minimizing exposure risk and maintaining safe workplace activities. We provide employee physicals ranging from pre-employment, Fitness-for-Duty, DOT, and specific duty for firefighters and EMT. At State Drug Testing & Occupational Health, we are a provider for state and federally regulated employment examinations such as National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) exams and FBI physicals. Our providers are licensed DOT Certified Examiners and are listed in the National Registry of Certified National Examiners (NRCNE).
Pre-Employment Physical Examinations
A pre-employment physical examination, to determine whether an employee meets health and physical-fitness requirements, is an important component to assist an employer in making appropriate hiring decisions. Requirements for these physicals will include all applicable federal and local regulations and any specific employer requirements such as drug and alcohol screenings and physical fitness tests.
Depending on the Federal/State/Employer requirements for the position, employees returning from a medical leave of absence may be required to pass a Fitness-for-Duty examination to confirm that they are healthy enough to return to work. State Drug Testing & Occupational Health will examine the employee and promptly report the results to the employer.
State Drug Testing & Occupational Health is fully equipped to offer physicals for individuals and employees in the transportation industry regulated by the Department of Transportation (DOT). Our providers at State Drug Testing & Occupational Health will perform all specific requirements for Commercial Driver’s Licenses (CDL) and will issue after completion.
